We need more Korean restaurants to open up in Ventura because it’s criminal how much this place charges. They think they can overcharge us because they’re the ONLY Korean restaurant in the area. This place is overpriced like crazy and the food is mediocre. I’m pretty sure this place and the Korean restaurant in Oxnard are run by the same family or something. As a Korean myself, it makes me so mad that a roll of kimbap is being charged like it’s some kind of an expensive sushi roll. Girl, it’s basically a Korean sandwich and it’s half the price in Ktown in Los Angeles. You guys are literally selling Korean street food. Oh and complimentary Kimchi as a side dish should be a given. This place is such an embarrassment to Korean culture 🙄

Great place! We enjoyed the spicy garlic KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) - not too spicy but just a little bite and also sweet! We also had Japchae, a pairing the hostess approved of. The meal includes marinated daikon, which is a perfect palate cleanser. The chef is an artist! We will be back regularly to enjoy their other offerings (no room for dessert this time)!

The chicken soup is good but I hope there are vegetables in it too. Edit: 2nd time here, the Beef Bibimbap and original wings are good

Yum! So glad to find this place. Yummy fast and affordable. 15ish per plate but big portions. Had the bimbibop which had yummy crunchy rice edges in a hot stone bowl with mung bean sprouts mushroom carrots and a scattering of ground beef. Family also had spicy noodle and udon noodle salad and took half home for another meal. Both had lots of veggies and sesame flavors. Ginger tea and yuzu tea were strong and sweet and would be perfect if you a cold. Or base for a hot toddy Will be back! Really nice staff. Decor is cute but basic

Love the concept of introducing delicious Korean food to the uninitiated in an approachable way in a language they understand. Their walk-up style format coupled with the rapid made-to-order service makes for very efficient service. Add to that their extremely friendly and helpful staff and you end up with a great dining experience. We enjoyed the Kimbap, Kimchi Fried Rice with Beef, and Soy Garlic Korean Fried Chicken. Each was flavorful, well balanced and deftly prepared. Can't wait to go back and try more from their menu.
